Cayenne
Cayenne is the capital city of French Guiana with lots of colonial architectures and places such as Place des Palmistes, Museum, the panoramic view from the 115 ft high Fort Cépérou, St Sauveur cathedral
Saint Laurent du Maroni
St. Laurent du Maroni is a transportation camp near the Marowijne river, the border with Suriname. It was the main penal colony, where criminals and political prisoners from France were imprisoned. One of them was the famous Papillon.
Kourou Space Center and Space Museum
The Arianespace center and space museum in Kourou is a 700-sq. km large international space center. The launch site as well as the space museum can be visited during a tour.
Kourou Devil’s Island
Devil’s Island (Île du Diable) was a French penal colony that operated for 100 years (1852 till 1952) from where the famous prisoner “Papillon” successfully escaped. Îles du Salut is a group of island in the Atlantic Ocean: Île Royale island, Saint Joseph island and Devil’s island. Only 2 islands can be visited by a catamaran. Devil’s Island is not allowed to enter.

The national currency of French Guyana is Euro. Credit cards such as Carte Bleue, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Diners Club are also accepted.
Vaccinations:
To enter French Guiana you need to be fully vaccinated (atleast 2 shots). Antigen test is still needed.
Yellow fever vaccination is a must.

Vaccinations against DTP and hepatitis A are recommended.
Vaccination against hepatitis B is recommended with stays for over three months.
Malaria medication is not needed on most of our tours.
