All of them celebrate each other’s culture as if it is their own.

Georgetown
The capital of Guyana, Georgetown, is a unique city full of history. There are several heritage sites such as the Georgetown Seawall, the 24 hour open Stabroek market, botanical gardens, the biggest wooden Cathedral and other unique architecture of heritage sites.
Kaieteur falls
Kaieteur falls is the highest single drop (741 ft) waterfall in the world, located on the Potaro river in the Kaieteur National Park. It can be reached by an one hour flight from Ogle airport.
Language:
English is the official language and an English creole is the local language.
Guyana is the only English-speaking country of South America
Electricity and mobile network:
Guyana has 220V/60Hz electricity and mainly American outlets.
In the interior, people usually use generators that work during certain hours of the day or solar energy.
There is an excellent mobile phone network.
Currency and credit cards:
The national currency of Guyana is Guyanese Dollar (GYD). Payments with USD is possible. Credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, Diner’s Club, and American Express are also accepted at some places.
Vaccinations:
To enter Guyana you need to be fully vaccinated (atleast 2 shots).
Antigen test is not needed anymore.
Yellow fever vaccination is a must.
These vaccination cards you need to have with you when traveling (digital or hard copy)
Vaccinations against DTP and hepatitis A are recommended.
Vaccination against hepatitis B is recommended with stays for over three months.
Malaria medication is not needed on most of our tours.

Because of the way Guyana is positioned, it is shielded from large natural disasters, like hurricanes.
Crime levels are low, but serious crime does occur. Avoid isolated areas, particularly after dark.
